Christmas in the Sky

Saw a fun Christmas show last night. Performances by local schools, hosted by radio station KUDL. It was SOOO cold and people were carrying styrofoam cups that I thought had hot cocoa. Turns out the Salvation Army was selling chili and chicken noodle soup for $4. It was for charity...but they didn't have my cocoa. So there. The "natives" were so happy because "this feels like Bermuda compared to last year!" Bermuda!? I'm definitely not in Kansas anymore...because I was in Missouri. :-)

So yeah...we waited in line to use the porta-potties (just 4 of them). If you're ever in line for the porta-potty, start singing "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" and I guarantee people will start laughing.

KUDL thought it would be cute to put stickers on the porta-potty doors that said "Johnny on the Spot." This 6-year-old boy behind us in line thought it should read "Johnny on the Pot." I couldn't agree less.

I got sick

Weather was extremely cold last week--even got some snow on me! I came down with this cold that's annoying me to death. Still haven't shaken the sore throat, I still sound like Kermit D. Frog.
