FYI: Moving violations

Two of my teammates told me today, if you get a ticket in Kansas for a moving violation (such as speeding), you can have it converted to a non-moving violation for double the bail amount. While this is more expensive in terms of cash, it will save you from having points added onto your driving record, which means no increase in insurance premiums and more money in your pocket!

How about that? A real win-win situation!
