Even here, sometimes feels like California

Last night I bumped my head on the coin drawer of the public washing machine. It hurt real bad, but I had no idea it was bleeding (until I looked in the mirror upon returning home).

What bothered (and still does) me is that three different men had gone in and out of the laundry room, right in front of me, and neither of them even tried to point out that I had blood coming out of a cut on my forehead. The first dude was even there when I bumped my head and said Owww out loud! So when I got home and went to the bathroom, should I have been surprised to find the 1/4 inch-wide scab?

I guess some things are going to hurt more than others....

Read your blog entry. Just wanted to comment that you must operate on the assumption that every where you go, you are all alone and no one is going to help you or bother about you. After all as Hindus say it is "Kaliyuga" or the dark age.

The former pastor of my church in LA said that if you consider society in the time of Jesus and compare it to right now, you'll find that not much has changed. Honestly, I think things now actually might be a little better than 2000 years ago. Back then, those 3 dudes would have taken my wallet and cell phone after seeing me whack myself on the head. Or maybe they would have laughed at me and called me crazy. We all get what we deserve, in the very end. That's one thing God promised us...and I delight in His promises.
